MONTPELLIER AIRPORT bucks trend as numbers increase slightly
Montpellier airport:reports + 0.7% of traffic for the first 3 months of the year.
Last year the airport recorded 1 254 881 passengers, an increase (excluding Paris Orly) of + 2.2% and witnessed the opening of 5 new routes (Madrid, Amsterdam, London Gatwick, Brussels and Ajaccio).

The increase of 0.7%, seems low, said airport officials, but of the top 10 French airports - Bordeaux, Toulouse, Marseille, Nice, Lyon, Nantes, Lille and Strasbourg, Montpellier is the only positive for this first quarter of this year..
